Wendy Katz, MSW, Partner Consultant and Manager, Strategic Advancement Services – Wendy’s core competencies include database management, background research, grant development, and event planning. Her professional passion is in her work creating safe, functional environments for people on the autism spectrum, so that they will learn and grow successfully. Wendy enjoys her role raising a young child with disabilities in northern Virginia. She also notes that one of her characteristics is having Asperger’s and values this as a part of both her identity and her work. Wendy earned her BA from Hanover College in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work at George Mason University with a macro focus on Social Change and Organizational Social Work. She is honored to begin serving as a Parent Representative on the Fairfax County – Falls Church Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) in 2017 to bring oversight to children’s mental and behavioral healthcare where she and her daughter live.
